Rehan studied chemistry at the University of Leicester and subsequently pursued a career in the laboratory as a chemist. His initial experience allowed him to gain exposure to the different extraction methods used in organic chemistry to test for volatile organic compounds. This was followed by a career at Intertek which involved testing inhalation formulations using different techniques in analytical chemistry.

Rehan then moved into the commercial world to a client facing role, using consultancy-based approaches to maximise growth in business. Rehan has over ten years of experience within the field of molecular spectroscopy and biophysics.
