Rehan studied chemistry at the University of Leicester and subsequently pursued a career in the laboratory as a chemist. His initial experience allowed him to gain exposure to the different extraction methods used in organic chemistry to test for volatile organic compounds. This was followed by a career at Intertek which involved testing inhalation formulations using different techniques in analytical chemistry.
Rehan then moved into the commercial world to a client facing role, using consultancy-based approaches to maximise growth in business. Rehan has over ten years of experience within the field of molecular spectroscopy and biophysics. He is currently in a senior role working for a large German organisation within the field of vibrational spectroscopy.
Rehan completed his MBA degree from the University of Lincoln in January 2024 and is a published author of a chemistry textbook.
Rehan is also the Chair of Governors at an alternative provision institution based in Luton, where he reviews the organisation’s finances, operations, growth, and reports, and works closely with the Headteacher to outline strategies for growth and operational excellence.
